I loooovvve KDE but on both my laptop and desktop are freezing now where I have to do a hard reboot to get it functioning again. It's after this last batch of updates. This always happens when I do updates on KDE. I just went back to Mint on my laptop but I hate to abandon KDE altogether. I would love to keep it on my desktop. Also, the desktops fan is always running HIGH & it settles down once I suspend to ram and log back in.
Any suggestions? |

What is your laptop & desktop spec? What kind of graphic card is on your system, and how much ram do you have? Also, which version of Neon you’re using, LTS, or the user edition? It helps if you give us your system spec.

Round up the usual suspects!
1. Create another user, add no widgets, and see if the problem persists. 2. If the problem disappears, restart your old user and start removing widgets. HTH
