I am on latest KDE Neon User version dated 31/08/2017. It's a fresh install done yesterday.

Discover - Software Center application auto closes while searching for applications.
There's no specific term which causes this and the same term which caused auto close works fine later on and vice versa.

Please look into the matter.

personally I do not prefer discover ,,,,,,,,, I install muon or/and synaptic .

discover is geared toward new users and ,,,,,showcases the things a new user may be looking for , + , it dose seam some what buggy and dose not seam to find "everything" that is in the repo's , but is getting better with time .
I would

Code: Select all
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get  dist-upgrade

then

Code: Select all
sudo apt install muon
