Does anybody have the same problem as I do?
My notifications with KDE/Neon stopped working at all. I mean desktop notifications.
I see plasmashell is registered with dbus at org.freedesktop.Notifications but whenever I do notify-send "abc" "def" nothing happens
No other notification daemon could have been registered as well so I've just backed up and truncated /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.kde.plasma.Notifications.service and installed xfce4-notificationd.
Would like to know if that is just my setup or more people are affected.
And if there are any logs I could go through that would be nice to know.

I have the same issue after instealling KDE Neon LTS.

So far the only solution I can find is to do:

sudo apt install --reinstall notification-daemon

Then to log out and back into the desktop.

I suspect it's just a case of the daemon not running at startup as it works fine once it's running after doing the above.

The blank line happen with everything so for my the notifications system is like broken, and I have no idea where to start to debug because on cli I don't get any errors.

I cannot find an error in console or other suggestions about the issue...
