kdev-python

Hi I'm running into a problem installing kdev-python, the rest of my system is up to date. How can I fix the problem below:

Code: Select all
$ sudo apt install kdev-python

Neon is trying to install the ancient version 1.7.3 from Ubuntu upstream; since it has non-ancient kdevplatform the dependency can't be met.

This isn't the first time this has happened (or the second); we get reports like this every couple of months. I would recommend that you use OpenSUSE Tumbleweed if you expect up-to-date packages that are actually tested.
