Open a terminal (like Konsole) and type
Code: Select all
sudo apt install software-properties-kde

enter your password if it asks for it, then after it installs type
Code: Select all
sudo software-properties-kde

That should open the application called Software Sources. On the first tab (neon Software) look for "Download from" and it will show what mirror you are using. Click the mirror and it will give you the options of "Main Server" and "Other". I would suggest trying "Other" and finding the mirror closest to you. If that mirror doesn't work, then try another mirror.

My problem got solved by doing that and changing the Brazil Server(in my case, i live in Brazil) to Main Server.
Before that, i wasn't abble to install the LibreOffice from apt-get, because the internet speed was very slow.
Thanks

I am in India and I also face speed issues with the local archive.neon.kde.org mirror.

So I get the IP address of the mirrors from other countries like the US or CH (switzerland) and put that IP in my /etc/hosts file.

Works around the problem pretty well for me.

Way to find out IP address of local mirror in switzerland is to google search for public DNS server IP in that country, then run command "nslookup archive.neon.kde.org <ip of dns server>" then the returned IP address belongs to the mirror located in that country.
