i know this has been covered a number of times, but i can't find solution that works for me.
i had ksnapshot before, but followed instruction to go into system-settings and configure custom shortcuts, and i have the following: ![]() it seems correct? i tried re-setting the shortcut for print, disabling and re-enabling, but nothing seems to help . somebody said to completely delete the khotkeysrc, but i didn't want to because i previously customized some items. so i deleted just the sections related to screenshots. but still, nothign seems to fix it. any ideas? thanks, joe |

hi folks - just an update on my digging: it seems qdbus command is broken for me:
on terminal I get " qdbus: could not open config file '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt-default/qtchooser//default.conf': No such file or directory " when i run, and this is why i believe the keyboard short doesn't work. so I found that this might be because a debug is not looking at right qt version - using "qtchooser " I ran: qtchooser -l which gave output: 5 default qt5-x86_64-linux-gnu qt5 and then did: export QT_SELECT=qt5 and now qdbus seems to give a big output of many programs. I will add this to my .bashrc as someone said to do (although not sure if "qt5" is the right version, given the other options), and see if this fixes things. |
