Hello All,
After the recent kernel update, I rebooted my laptop to effect the change. All is well. My wife, on the other hand, did the update on her laptop the day before but didn't reboot. Just for chuckles, I checked her Info Center and saw the kernel hadn't been updated. We did a reboot and the kernel got updated. I've been using Linux much longer than her and knew to reboot after a kernel update. She obviously didn't. Is it possible to add a notice to Discover to reboot your PC after certain updates? Some users would likely need this notice more than others. It definitely needs to be done for a kernel update and maybe others as well. Thanks, Rick.

Yes, makes sense. Can you open a bug report in bugs.kde.org so we don't forget?
Cheers! |
