I have setup isoimagewriter and created a dolphin service menu for .ISO files but iv noticed a problem with filenames that contain dots.

Here is a dolphin list of some iso images but as you can see from their icons some of them (the ones with dots in their filename) are not registered as they should be?

This is causing my service .desktop context menu option to not show up on some of the ISO files because its looking for MimeTypes x-cd-image.

Code: Select all
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Service
ServiceTypes=KonqPopupMenu/Plugin
MimeType=application/x-cd-image
Actions=write;
X-KDE-Priority=TopLevel
X-KDE-StartupNotify=false
Icon=application-x-cd-image

This is the association for .iso

How do i sort this out so that all .iso files are "seen" as the mime-type that they should be?

According the image, there are files with dot(s) in the filename which are recognized as ISO and others which are not, and at least one file without dots which is not recognized (the last one).
