Hello,

after last update to KDE 5.12 i'am not able to start applications from KDE. No systemsettings, no konsole ... the errormessage is:
Code: Select all
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: ../sysdeps/x86_64/dl-machine.h: 517: elf_machine_rela_relative: Assertion `ELFW(R_TYPE) (reloc->r_info) == R_X86_64_RELATIVE' failed!

So what can i do? Maybe an reinstallation of all packages can help? Or can i search for the broken lib?

Thanks a lot!

Reinstall the entire system. I had a problem with the disappearing menubar in all windows. After a short time, new problems began to appear, I had broken / no icons in most windows, etc. Problems also began to appear after the upgrade to KDE 5.12. It seems that the upgrade to 5.12 spoiled a lot of things.

After clean installing the system again, everything works as it should.
