Not sure why Discover is doing this. I'm just wondering if this inhibits updates from coming though. Is there a fix or work around?

I will not help because I do not know how, but I can tell you that the problem also occurs after the clean installation of the system from the latest released image.
In this case, it is roulette. Sometimes it works normal and sometimes it does not and hang on refresh status. |

I sometimes get that. I usually just open a terminal window and type the command:
sudo apt-get update Then add my root password and I have found that this cures the issue. |

Hmmm...didn't seam to help. I ran sudo once and opened Discover. Then I tried sudo again and rebooted. I just installed Muon Package Manager. I can do everything from there. It runs well on my machine. I'll keep Discover installed and keep trying it. Oh question though. Does it effect how updates come through. If it does maybe Neon can be installed from an older snapshot. I do think I have a disc here. If not then oh well. Neon runs well. It's quick.
