I looked around and couldn't find a clear answer as to what will happen when Bionic rolls out. It sounds as if the base system will not update from Xenial to Bionic, but Plasma will continue to get updates on top of Xenial instead. I don't really want to have to do a clean install again when Neon gets re-based on Bionic, so I am inclined to wait if I can confirm that it will indeed require a clean install at that time.
If that is the case, that also begs the question, how long after Bionic is released until we get a version of Neon built on it? My openSuse install is having fits with the Nvidia in my ThinkPad right now, so I was hoping to not have to wait a long time. If anyone has any concrete info or suggestions here, it would be greatly appreciated. Peace... |

That's what I was wondering, too!
I just downloaded the latest Neon user release. I was thinking will this version auto-upgrade to Bionic Beaver when it's released later this month, or will I have to reinstall Neon? I am really looking forward to using this amazing Linux flavour. |
