Hi guys, I'm using VirtualBox 5.2.8 as host on windows 7, and installed virtualbox-guest-x11-hwe instead of virtualbox-guest-x11 in VirtualBox in recent months.

After upgrade from Plasma 5.12.03 to 5.12.04 , the whole desktop UI stop working: menu gone, mouse clicks no responding.

So I reinstall Neon/Plasma 5.12.04 user edition from downloaded iso, it works fine. but after intalling virtualbox-guest-x11-hwe and reboot, the desktop UI stop working again.

Is about upgrading virtualbox-guest-*-hwe from 5.0.40 to 5.1.34, so after excluding them, it works:

sudo apt-mark hold virtualbox-guest-dkms-hwe
sudo apt-mark hold virtualbox-guest-utils-hwe
sudo apt-mark hold virtualbox-guest-x11-hwe
