A lil background on this issue:
I am a LM KDE refugee. I decided to move to neon after LM announced they wouldn't have a KDE flavor anymore and SDDM started crashing on my system. This would mainly happen when I connect remotely via Teamviewer. I decided to install a fresh copy of KDE Neon in my root partition. The home partition was left intact as I want to keep all my data. Everything seems to work correctly when I am not connected to this machine remotely. However a few mins after I initiate a remote connection, the display manager dies. I can't reconnect via TV anymore and if someone is in front of the machine this is what shows up: ![]() All open apps are closed automatically and any unsaved data is lost. What is interesting is that when I migrated to KDE Neon what seems to also happen is: 1. TV loses connection 2. SDDM stops/crashes 3. When I come back to inspect the machine it is suspended? Below are Journald Logs from KSystemlog. Can anyone spot anything that is causing the display manager to die and trigger suspend? Thank you in advance! KDE Version: Neon 5.12 Uname -a Output:

OK, this seems to be related to Teamviewer version 13.1.3026 - I uninstalled that version and rolled back to v. 12.0.93330
All SDDM crashing went away. Anyone else experienced something similar with KDE Neon and Teamviewer? |
