Hi,

i’ve installed KDE Neon today (5.12.4, with Plasma 5.45.0), because my Kubuntu 14.04 is crashed.

I would like to use ISO 8601 date and time format. In KDE 4, I just entered yyyy-mm-dd (or so). Now I have to select a “region” that uses something similar to ISO 8601.

The problem is: When I go to System Settings -> Formats, change the region, and click “Apply”, it says “Your changes will take effect the next time you log in.”. But when I log in the next time, all formats are set back to Ireland. The only setting that doesn’t get lost, is “[_] Detailed Settings”. All other setting modules seem to work correctly.

I want “2018-04-29 16:59:07’ and not “sunnudagur, 29. abril 2018 16:59:07 UTC”, so what could be the problem / what should I do now?

Thanks for any useful tips!

Edit: I randomly chosed Ireland as time zone during install, because I couldn’t chose UTC. After the installation I’ve successfully changed to UTC.
