Title sums it up. Since a few weeks my Neon install (which is fully up to date) will at most times simply log out of the session when I choose 'Shut down' or 'Reboot' from the Application Menu or the Power Key. This is on an Asus laptop – Zenbook UX303. I have tested both the default kernel (4.4) and the HWE kernel (4.13) to no effect.
This could of course be an Ubuntu problem, but I'm unsure so I'm posting it here.
