Hey guys,
I'm on KDE Neon and my system just got updated to Plama 5.13. In the release note, there's a new feature that allows browser integration (Multimedia controls, download notifier,.. right in the panel's notification zone). But for me it doesn't seem to work, neither with Firefox nor with Chromium. Dis I miss something or are there some additional packages or extenstions to install first ?? Thanks ![]() |

You first need to install Plasma Browser integration plugin. Then, install plasma-browser-integration package. But it seems it's not available in repositories yet.

Umm yeah... these internet integrations are not enabled out of the box
It's not one of KDE's better user-friendly-intuitive features You first have to install the relevant browser extension from either the Chrome Web Store or as a firefox Add-On... then take it from there
KDE neon 5.20 - Plasma 5.20.5 - Frameworks 5.78 - Qt 5.15.2 - Kernel 5.4.0-65

Indeed.. I installed the "Plasma Integration" extension in Firefox, but I got an error message : "Failed to connect to the native host. Make sure the 'plasma-browser-integration' package is installed." This package is not available in the repositories. May be we should wait..

You need the package plasma-browser-integration, which has not quite made it to the repos as of yet, likely tomorrow it seems.
