Hi,

Under KDE Neon git unstable I have found since say 4 days ago that whenever I close a window, whether it by clicking the "Close" window button or by entering my password into the keyring and pressing "OK" (which closes that keyring window), Plasma crashes and I'm taken to the SDDM login screen. If relevant I use the Wayland session by default (I have edited SDDM's config file to auto-log me into the Wayland session) I have kept my git unstable system up-to-date by regularly running "sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade -y && sudo apt autoremove -y" yet this issue has persisted. Is this an issue that is known or should I report it as a bug? Oddly it doesn't seem to occur under X11.

Thanks for your time,
Brenton

I have exactly the same issue on my Neon user edition machine. It started recently after an update. I was still on plasma 5.12.5 at the time. I read on reddit that neon got a Qt update before plasma 5.13 shipped. I suspect that there is some issue with the new Qt version since my session does not crash when closing gtk-based applications. Maybe this will get fixed by the time Qt 5.11.1 gets shipped next week. Not sure how long it usually takes for new Qt versions to be available on Neon though.

I've since noticed it on my user edition system too. 'tis rather irritating, but then again if you live on the bleeding-edge occasionally you're going to get cut.
