Hi Folks,
I ran into a very weird situation with Neon and hope someone can help as I've never run into this with any other linux distribution. I installed the latest version of Neon on my HP Desktop, Pavilion 23. After install I used it off and on throughout the day including putting into suspend mode a few times and had no issues. The next morning I went to start my computer and got the following message: "all shell packages missing" Wait, What ![]() I've been using various Linux distros over the past 4 - 5 years and have never run across something like this before and I've been using them all on this machine. Any ideas what happened and if I re-install would it likely happen again ? As a result of Neon not working I've switched to Kubuntu which is running great but would prefer Neon if I can get it to work consistently & reliably. Thanks & Regards, Bruce |

1. Change the title of your issue. 2. Specify Edition and timestamp of image. 3. Specify session (X or Wayland). 4. Specify all actions undertaken after fresh install. As you've laid it out, you cannot expect an answer.
None.
No, if you do things "by-the-book", no such issue is likely to happen. Cheers.
