Suspend failing on Dell Latitude 7370

Fri Aug 03, 2018 12:55 am
Anyone else having issues with suspend lately? Some time in the last couple weeks, suspend seems to have stopped working on my Dell Latitude 7370. It appears to be the same symptoms as described here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1774950, except that the commenters there are reporting that 4.15.0-29 works for them, while I still have the issue. Basically when I close the lid, it appears to go to sleep, but when I open the lid, it boots up as if I hard powered off.

Mysteriously after trying a half a dozen old kernels and going back to the original, I'm no longer having the issue.

Hi, good luck. Was it mysteriously or did you received an update?. In system preferences you can configure the behavior of the suspension settings on the power section.
