Hi all,
I've been using debian / kde for many years (last 10 years) as my work environment. Last Year I was using Debian Buster / SID with Plasma 5 and I had a lot of estability problems. For this raison I've decide to change my work platform. I have been researching what is the best distribution with kde. I think I could have a stable working environment with KDE Neon. I've installed KDE Neon and I like very much , I'd prefer if backgroud were debian , anyway ubuntu is ok. I have a problem, Copy & Paste with middle button does'n work in my environment, and this funcionality is critical because it affects to my productivity. I need to use CRLT-May-C CRLT-May-V with konsole and between applications, working with vi too ... Does anyone known about this problema and How I could solve it ? Can anyone tell me if I've selected an estable enviroment to work ? I'm Oracle DBA. Thanks everyone. |

That's strange. It's not something I use, but i have just tried it on my 18.04 based system, copying text online & pasting it into LO Writer using middle click, & it works fine.

I have never had a problem with middle mouse copy and paste, in Neon or elsewhere. I use it dozens of times daily myself.
Does this happen if you try a different mouse? Assuming that this problem happens with more than one mouse, check the mouse middle-click settings found in the Desktop settings area (right-click on the desktop >> configure desktop >> mouse actions

Hi all.
It was just a problem with the mouse. I tested copy&paste with other mouse and it worked fine. I'm very happy because , I think kde Neon is a good stable solution as work environment for me and this problem was worrying me. Thanks very much for you help. Do you think that Kubuntu could be more stable environment to work ? or KDE Neon is a good decision |

Either one, in my opinion. It can depend on how much you don't mind non Plasma software being less up to date, or if getting Plasma updates less frequently is OK At the moment, there is not a huge difference between them, and less so when they upgrade Neon to an 18.04 base. I use both.
