Hi,

I am not able to install the latest KDE neon from a bootable USB drive. The problem occurs after I boot the stick and choose to run KDE neon. It shows me the neon logo with a spinning loading animation below. That animation runs for a few seconds and then stops, i.e. it freezes. I left my laptop stuck there for a few minutes but nothing more happened. What may cause this issue and what can I do to be able to install KDE neon?

If you need more detailed information, please tell me what steps I need to do. I am relatively new to using Linux.

I agree with mdevi, you should tell us which program did you use to write the iso on the usb.
I use RosaImageWriter from this link: http://en.rosalinux.com/downloads/

This sounds like a problem I had, it was caused by my nvidia graphics. I fixed it by pressing 'e' at the bootloader screen and adding 'nomodeset' to the boot options.

follow these instruction and it will boot, google it for more information

if you are using integrated intel graphics card, it should be missing the xserve-xorg-video-intel that was removed from NEON.
Every time after the boot splash screen, give black screen.

Fix: boot normally when the screen turns black press ALT + F2 enter your username and password and type " sudo apt install xserver-xorg-video-intel -y " after install restart the PC
