I would like to try the "active window control" widget on my neon box. I installed it from the store and it seems to be running fine only there is no way I can get the window control buttons to move to the top bar when a window is maximized.
Note that in the store https://store.kde.org/p/998910/ I read
REQUIRED DEPENDENCIES
- qt5-graphicaleffects
- e.g. package for kubuntu users: libqt5qml-graphicaleffects

only that package isn't in the repositories anymore. Perhaps that had something to do with it?
Did somebody succeed in getting those buttons to move?
Thanks Pieter

Actually I found out that it worked out the box! Only, in Neon you start with unnoticeable small window controls. After I noticed that the main problem was to get latte-dock to "eat out of my hand". And that turned out to be not so easy.
But it all worked and now I have a fully functional moving window control buttons and they are embedded in a latte dock. This latte dock is easy to copy and use on another machine! Real nice!
