Does Neon support full disk encryption (dm-crypt)?

As far as I was able to test it, it looks the Neon installer does not support full disk encryption for the '/' aka root volume. Am I right?

I tried 18.04 minimal ISO and be able to install the system in a way the root volume was on ext4 filesystem living on pure dm-crypt/luks volume. I however did not find a way how to do same thing with KDE Neon 18.04.

This leads me to the idea to use this 18.04 minimal system and 'enrich it' by KDE Neon PPA. I did this in my previous 16.04 neon and it worked almost (needed to introduce some one-time manual fixes) without problems.

Is there anyone who is solving the same use case?

- User wants to use 18.04 KDE Neon along with dm-crypt full disk encryption on '/' root disk volume.

Did I miss something in order to find straight forward solution?
