So I had a tough time installing Neon the first time and I decided this time to partition it so I have 300MB to grubboot, 18GB to swap, and the rest to my main partition. I put the boot image in the dropdown on the same exact partition that gruboot was on. What happened was that it STILL goes to grub minimal, and worse this time it says it's missing fonts and freezes.
How exactly am I to set up grub to ensure that 1) don't have to set root and the configfile in minimal every time I boot 2) the fonts actually install from live updating during install. The OS itself works fine aside from having to reboot once because plasmashell needs terminal to be open to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Having to rely on Windows stinks. |
