Folks,

Is there a way to trigger the upgrade to 18.04.1 LTS Neon from 16.04 Neon?
It appears I'm a day late. ???

I just did a Clonezilla backup and found that there is no more reminder nag, and I don't see any way to do "full upgrade" in muon.

From page 2 of this thread https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=309&t=154056&start=15 you can try
Code: Select all
do-release-upgrade or do-release-upgrade -d
some other useful troubleshooting info in the thread too.

Thank you, Darkfoss1,

When I went to do what you suggested I found the notification about upgrade back in place, so I went with it.
Upgrade went smoothly except for warnings about some sources and mods I had made for grub2.
I got a warning about grub-efi-amd64 which was alarming until I chanced it and, after making sure I was on Bionic 18.04, rebooted OK.

Thanks...
