Hello guys, although I'm not new to linux, I used KDE for the first time a few days ago, and I'm loving it! (I thought it was heavier than it actually is!).
So, I have installed KDE Neon on my Desktop, and I also want to install it on my laptop. But I also need Windows 10 installed on it (for my sister )...
The manual installation is not my piece of cake, so I wanted to ask, how much space I must give to /, swap and /home (is it called /dos??).
I know I have to shrink my disk, I was going to give 200GB to Windows, so I'll have about 300GB for Neon, and so I would like you suggest to me the most of space I need to give to every category, so Neon works smoothly. I am open to extra tips as well!

That depends on what you want to do with your machine and how much RAM is built in.
I have 50 GB for /, 21GB is in use, 16GB GB for Swap, rest is /home.
As this is your first try i would suggest you let *buntu decide and simply put all in one partition.

And no, its not called /dos - where are you from ?

I'll probably try to install kde Neon tonight on my laptop. I was thinking about creating just / and swap partition without /home, is there any problem with that? Also I have 4 Gb of RAM so after some research I may make swap 6Gb.

Its no technical problem to have no /home partition, its perfectly fine.
Its just a bit "safer" to have one if you want to reinstall, play around etc. but its also way more complicated for new users.
So, stay with the standard installation on one partition and let the install routine decide what to do. I think it will set the right swap size too.
