Hi,

just registered and already with my first question.

I installed fcitx via Synaptic, including its dependencies. Then I noticed, the icon for selecting the keyboard input and its menu look out of place, see the following screenshot:



I thought it had to do with a package that got pulled as recommend and I suspected it to be kde-config-fcitx, so I removed that and rebootet.
And then the "normal" icon and KDE native menu appeared.

However, upon rebooting again, it is all back to how it was before. I reinstalled kde-config-fcitx but it didn't change anything.

Help would be appreciated.
