Key "r" is not woking anymore

My problem is similar to this post: https://unix.stackexchange.com/question ... hift-linux HoweveR, I couldn't find a woRking solution yet.

Operating System: KDE neon 5.14
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.3
Qt Version: 5.11.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.52.0
Kernel Version: 4.15.0-39-generic
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i7-6600U CPU @ 2.60GHz
Memory: 7.7 GiB of RAM


AfteR a RestaRt, pRessing the "r"-key is not inseRting the "r"-letteR anymoRe.

- PRessing "r" does nothing
- PRessing shift + "r" enteRs "R"
- Holding "r" down does nothing

This is what happens when I pess "r" in

I checked whetheR I set a shoRtcut anywheRe but I couldn't find anything. (I also did not knowingly change any shoRtcuts).

When I log out and login with Ubuntu, I can noRmally use the key "r".

Any ideas to fix this pRoblem?
