Hi All,
I was wondering how to determine the driver that is being used for my WiFi in Neon, in order to download and have it available for use with another distro for testing. I have discovered that the Neon driver is giving me 60+mbps but other distros only give me 3-20mbps and I am curious if the driver was used on the other distros would it give the same results or is it a setting that is different and not just the driver. I am trying to use a less resource intensive desktop environment for my iMac and think that MX Linux would be good if I could get the same driver that Neon uses working in MX Linux. I know it is strange to ask another distro group to give me information that would make me use another distro but the performance on my old iMac is better with Xfce vs KDE. Sorry if this is confusing and I hope there is an answer. Thank you. Joe |
