I have a Dolphin widget on my panel/taskbar. As many times as I click it, a new instance of Dolphin opens up. Works the same from the Application Menu too.

Also try File -> New Window, or if you don't have the menu bar turned on, Ctrl+N.
If this is something you do often, you can customize the tool bar and add a New Window button.
Currently running KDE Neon 5.22.5 and 5.19.4 (with Windows 10 in a VM); migrated from Linux Mint 17.3

OK I found the problem, it's linked to Latte. I have to check two boxes related to task in the configuration windows of Latte.
Then all is fine, at each click a news instance is open. Thanks to all. SM |
