Where does this unidentifiable file come from?

# dpkg -S /etc/apt/trusted.gpg
dpkg-query: no path found matching pattern /etc/apt/trusted.gpg

which means: package unknown

which means: totally unidentifiable

The data:

InstallTime of Google Earth:

# ls -ld /opt/google/earth/pro
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3674 Jan 25 05:23 /opt/google/earth/pro

InstallTime of /etc/apt/trusted.gpg:

# ls -l /etc/apt/Google_trusted.gpg_Google
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 75757 Jan 25 05:23 /etc/apt/Google_trusted.gpg_Google

This file will never leave Your computer, even when deinstalling
GoogleEarth.

I suggest blacklisting GoogleEarth.

Additional Info:
Is this the correct file I should have:

Code: Select all
# /bin/ls -l /btrfs_TopVolume/@apt-snapshot*/etc/apt/trusted.gpg |& /bin/grep '2019-01-25'
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 69867 Okt  1 23:39 /btrfs_TopVolume/@apt-snapshot-2019-01-25_00:08:08/etc/apt/trusted.gpg

Pay attention to the file size, please.

I could post a hash of it, if necessary.

I just found:

Other external package-origins put their keys
into the same file.

Can be checked with:

$ apt-key list | less

Examples:
Opera
Vivaldi
Oracle

Edit:
Then, it seems to be OK…
I thought, I'd get a heart attack…

Well: Trust, but verify.
