Hello,
how can I change the language of neon and all applications to for example, spanish? Neon was installed in english. I've already went into system-settings -->regional settings and change the languages options there. But the result is that half the system is now in english and some in spanish. for example: -----The launcher categories are in english -----the sub-categories are in spanish -----system notifications are in english and some of the "title/headers/description" of those notifications are in spanish -----konsole messages are in in english. -----login window actions (shutdown, reboot, suspend, ...) are in english Well, you get the picture. help. thanks. |

You should also set the formats, all items except the last one. Are you sure there is a translation team in Spanish.
Restart the system is required. |

Hi, @alldeda has pointed out the solution very well.
Could you take a look at the following post?. I also think you have missed something. https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-change-system-language-on-ubuntu-18-04-bionic-beaver-linux It is for Gnome Desktop but you could do the same in Plasma KDE desktop. Regards |

Thanks for the advice, but I just noticed a big joke. Update plasma to version 5.15.0 has deleted the localization in both my Neon-user edition versions. I set out to USA now, I will no longer use localization. Calculate linux (aka Gento with GUI installer) does not have my localization, I have localized Calculate and I just had problems, one program accepts localization, others do not accept. Neon distro which is the basis of Ubuntu 18.04LTS deletes localization and I have updated plasma from 5.14.5 to 5.15.0.
