I found this link, but do not understand if the marked rows should be ejected, there are no standard labels + or -. I examined the sddm-theme / Main.qml file, there are additional lines. Title in the link: Remove blur on login screen when Delete blur on login screen when pressing a modifier. What is pressing a modifier, what should be pressed. I would like the most ssdm theme with no blur effect. I am also interested in the localization of the login screen because if I localize linux to the login screen I have a mixed salad. The date is localized and everything else is not, the text in the logout screen is full localized, the login screen is a meat salad.

Green is added text (+) and Red is deleted text (-), though no deleted text with this commit.
Currently running KDE Neon 5.22.5 and 5.19.4 (with Windows 10 in a VM); migrated from Linux Mint 17.3

About localization: the logout screen is handled by a component of Plasma, while the login screen is SDDM, an external (non KDE) project . Did you check the state of a localization of SDDM for your language?

The Breeze sddm theme is part of the KDE plasma.
The SDDM is following the system locales: What locale settings sddm respects? - https://www.bountysource.com/issues/379 ... m-respects ... an example with the Arch: viewtopic.php?t=137502#p375121 About blur - KDE forums: Remove or hide fade-to-blur ? - viewtopic.php?f=289&t=152822 Plans: - (Abandoned) [SDDM theme] remove blur and increase UI contrast so that it's not required - https://phabricator.kde.org/D16031 - 5.16 Login screen redesign - https://phabricator.kde.org/T10325 |

I resolved the localization problem on the login screen, /etc/default/locale, the first line was not ok. The first and basic problem was that the update plasmas to version 5.15.0 deleted all the localization settings, I created the screenshot, reported as a bug.
@Rog131, I found your advice on the forum, I applied to the login screen. I applied it to the lock screen, but then it break the logout screen. I get a blurred logout screen so I gave up that change. |

My humble thinking is to make too many changes from version to version. Each new version is like I installed another linux. I read to the Internet one text where the author analyzes the programs and concludes that users if they do not change anything in the program think the program is not good. My friends use XFCE, many people use XFCE, almost all distributions have their XFCE main distribution. People say I'm starting the computer today and I'm working, I start up after a month, I do an update and I do not have to learn how to work with my Linux. Best regards ![]() |
