Hello all,
I've been a keen user of KDE (linux mint versions) and now KDE Neon full version running Plasma 5 etc. My wired network connection keeps dropping out and reconnecting, it's only done this since I installed KDE Neon recently, it never did this on any other distro over the last 5 years, I have another machine downstairs wired on the network (Linux Mint 18.3 KDE) and this never drops out, wireless also never drops out, so it's definitely this machine alone affected, it's not the connection itself, I feel it's something to do with this software/drivers. Any help gratefully received. Thank you for all you do ![]() |

Start this:
$ nmcli connection monitor and let it run for a while. Post here, what shows up, if anything. --- Read "man nmcli". --- I never had a problem like this on any UNIX-like OS in the last quarter of a century. This seems very specific to Your installation/configuration. --- Maybe, post the output of: "nmcli" + <RETURN>. |
