Today I got back to my computer and did some regular updates using discover and changed my theme to dark breeze, everything was working as intended, but now, after restarting the computer the login screen is not responding to mouse or keyboard inputs, and I cannot log in. I can open the terminal but otherwise I seem to be locked out of the system. Any solutions on how to fix this?

I got something like this also. Everything was working fine, I clicked on the "places" plasmoid that I had on the desktop, an i was facing a black desktop. I have krunner 9I think that is what it is called set to the top of the screen so I had access to the terminal and could launch applications from there. After a few hours of trying, I had to reinstall as I need the laptop for the morning. Second reinstall in t weeks after a flawless year and a half.

If I turn or the compositer, i can see my wallpaper, but that is about it. I still have a (had) a mouse.

Scrambling to get a system runing for the morning
