Hello,
I've been using Ubuntu with Unity then Gnome for a while and thought I would try Neon as I had heard good things. Overall a positive experience so far but i am stumped by how to sync to my Google contacts and calendar. In gnome this is straight forward through Online Accounts or Evolution but I can't seem to find any equivalent? Any help would be appreciated! neon 5.15 plasma 5.15.3 Thanks, Steve |

Where's the problem? |

As far as I am aware "Online Accounts" only Syncs Google Drive & You Tube, not Calendar or Contacts.
Are you using the default Kontact Suite? or Thunderbird with Lightning? I only ask because the latter IMO is better for syncing Calendars & Contacts. |

Thanks for your reply!
My problem is that I don't seem to have that option under Personalisation. See image: https://app.box.com/s/3ox0bd96wn1f3ikdjct4lozpozm4tp1j Why would that be?

I think you need kio-gdrive installed to get that option. But as I say that will not sync your Calendar & Contacts.
You need to do that from within either Kontact or Thunderbird. |

"Online Accounts" is part of package:
"kaccounts-integration"

That package can't be installed on the OPs install, for some reason.
Maybe it's an install from an older iso, before it became part of the default packages. |
