Hi,
I've got KDE Neon installed fresh today and have noticed the Windows/Meta key does nothing. Its like the hardware button isn't functioning at all. I've tried to assign new global shortcuts using it but it only registers the second keypress. I've also tried running some of the default commands like maximise window (meta+page up) and it does nothing. I also tried creating a new user and same issue on that user. This is my keyboard (101 key US Keyboard) https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/143098583704?chn=ps I've tried changing keyboard types from UK to US, as I have a US keyboard and am In UK but this didn't fix the issue. I rebooted into windows and the windows key responds fine, so there's something happening in Neon that's blocking the button press. Not sure how to debug this tbh, any ideas? Thanks Sunny |

Example from my OpenBSD reconfiguration:
Result: ALT-Key usable in Firefox Meta-Key usable in MidnightCommander And both at the same time. Play around. Maybe, it's a little bit different on "Ubuntu LTS"/"KDE neon". Have Fun. |

Of course:
You also could open "System Settings" and enter "key" into the search box. Or You could select
But I think, this would be to easy. It's like reading the documentation. In other words: A deadly sin. |

Known bug. Possible solutions:
Bind with alt + F1 Create a new default panel which will have your macro In your profile settings file, allow SuperKey to act as a macro itself |
