Morning folks, something has changed! I've tried to boot the User Edition Live from USB on both an Asus K52F laptop and a Dell Inspiron 620S desktop.

neon-user-20190328-1117.iso and neon-user-20190404-1118.iso stop immediately with the following error message.

"Failed to load ldlinux.C32"
"Boot failed: press any key to retry"

By going back to neon-useredition-20180906-1023-amd64.iso I was able to successfully boot on both machines and install Neon onto the Asus where an update/upgrade worked perfectly.

The initial error on the Dell was for testing purposes only. I'm already running Neon on that machine.

I check the iso's with sha256sum after downloading.

Can this problem be avoided? Nice to do a fresh install with the latest image so I don't have a lot of files that need downloading and upgrading.

Loving Neon since I discovered it. It's much easier to install the few programs I normally use rather than have to remove dozens that just clutter things up in normal KDE distros.

The only change I need to make is from Application Launcher (which I have never liked) to Application Menu. Other than that minor quibble, Neon rocks! ;D

The problem is my USB storage setup. I've been using Easy2Boot for years to handle multiple iso's and it has been working smoothly until the last few builds of Neon. Older builds on my usb stick(s) still work with no problem.

I've created a dedicated stick for the April 4 User Edition and it loads and installs to HD with no problem.

Happy again!
