Usually pkcon and Discover handle flatpaks just fine, but lately I've been running into a few cases where both tools end up saying No Updates, yet the Updates plasma tray icon will correctly say there are still unhandled updates.
Demonstration of the problem:

Don't think you're doing anything wrong
The past few days discover/pkcon were not doing anything even though the update notification indicated updates My update notification--a few minutes ago--said there were 7 updates Discover only showed 4; I decided to do a konsole pkcon instead... and received 8 updates(!) I'll wait and see how the next round of updates are handled

(pkcon is not a frontend for flatpak and has in fact nothing to do with flatpak in any form or fashion)
Annoyed with bbcode since 1999.

That is true... however I thought Discover did but so far it has yet to "discover" any flatpak updates but a konsole flatpak update does the job just fine!

Oh okay, I thought pkcon was simply the terminal counterpart to Discover. If not pkcon, is there any other wrapper for the terminal that can update distro, Flatpak and Snap all at the same time, like Discover can? That would be cool and consistent to have, I think. |
