I'm not reporting a bug here. I always report them at bugs.kde.org. But its always better to check first, before reporting a bug if you've missed a setting, or if there is a simple solution. Rather than have the bug rejected. Unless you know the software intimately its quite normal and expected to verify the problem on a forum or similar place. For that I believe the KDE Forum is a good place for that. But I might be wrong.

Did you report a bug on bugs.kde.org? The solutions offered on the forum did not appeal to you, so I expect you to publish a link to the bug report on bugs.kde.org
