Hello,
I just now updated my KDE Neon install with 5.16 and after reboot I wasn't able to connect/ping to any servers. My network config in KDE the "method" is set to "Automatic (addresses only)" and I have manually entered the DNS server as 1.1.1.1 I noticed if I disable the wired connection and change DNS to 8.8.8.8 and enable it back then connectivity is restored and if I again disable network connection and change DNS back to 1.1.1.1 and enable it back then again connectivity is lost. Ping says "temporary failure in name resolution". Any ideas as to why DNS 1.1.1.1 is failing? I dont see anything special in /var/log/syslog I will try looking at journalctl now.

Well nevermind, I don't know, maybe it was a transient error. I started to search online for any pointers to this issue and in the meantime it started working again, meaning I cannot reproduce the error even after rebooting and playing with the network config. Maybe a temporary issue with the 1.1.1.1 server.
