I'm not sure if this is the right subforum to post in regarding this, but after the last KDE update from the PPAs, every time I open Konsole and Dolphin (after closing all the windows), the new window is always a little bigger than the last time. For example, I just opened Konsole and the dimensions said 114 x 64, I closed it and reopened, the dimension is 115 x 66. Of course I can tell about Konsole because it flashes its dimensions when its opened, but Dolphin doesn't. But it's obvious comparing with the background artifacts that Dolphin is emerging larger and larger.
I'm using Kubuntu 19.04 on Wayland. I'm not sure if it affects X or any other KDE apps or distro. Other than Konsole and Dolphin, I only use Firefox regularly, and it doesn't seem to be affected in anyway. This is annoying, if you can please suggest at least a temporary workaround and return the window to the default size, I'll be very grateful. |

Hello, Kubuntu is delivered by Kubuntu developers - you might have better luck on a ubuntu related forum Neon is delivered by KDE developers who use a long term ubuntu release: an entirely different distro altogether. Best wishes for a speedy end to your present difficulty. |

Thank you for the clarification. Can any moderator move this post to the appropriate subforum?

I've confirmed that this happens on other Wayland-native apps like Discover and System Settings. It doesn't happen under X.
