KDE Wacom tablet calibration tool

Mon Jul 01, 2019 7:04 pm
Hi everyone. Just installed neon and set up my dual monitor workstation. My workstation has a cintiq companion 2 as it's second monitor. When connected to my workstation it acts just like a normal Cintiq, as in it just functions as a monitor with a digitizer underneath it. When its not connected to my workstation it runs as its own tablet PC. I am running Ubuntu 18.04 gnome on it.

When running it as it's own PC, not connected to the workstation and running Ubuntu gnome, the calibration is perfect. When its connected to my workstation, and thus working as a second monitor to my neon system, I have to calibrate to tablet space and tell it which screen I'm using it on. This is fine but the calibration is noticably off and I end up messing with the manual "tweaking/fine tuning" options to try and dial it in.

With all of this said, is the KDE Wacom graphics tablet calibration tool "writing out" to a file all unbuntu systems us for tablet calibration? If so, is that file interchangeable between Ubuntu based system? Could that file/files be copied from one system to another for calibration purposes.

New to Linux so sorry if this doesn't make any sense.
