It is not available in the Ubuntu repos for 18.04, which is what Neon is built upon.
The program's author lists his ppa: https://launchpad.net/~teejee2008/+arch ... /timeshift

So, yes I'm fairly new to KDE Neon - if I add their repository, and install Timeshift will it work under KDE Neon? The entire point of Timeshift is to rollback the system if needed, so I'd hate to be using it and come time for a rollback have it not function correctly.
Just before I add the repo and install Timeshift; can ya'll confirm that it operates under Neon well? *OR*, what is the KDE program that does what Timeshift does? Its a system-backup tool... saves the system in instances that you can easily rollback to if needed. Like if you mess the system up, you can just load yesterdays Timeshift backup and you're back up and running in 30 minutes. Is there a KDE variant that I should use instead of Timeshift??? Thanks kindly. |
