You may try to update flatpak by executing:
flatpak update |

In general, if an application crashes, I would suggest to install the debug symbols package (e.g. for plasma-discover package, the debug symbols can be found in plasma-discover-dbgsym) and create a bug report in bugs.kde.org.

Hi, I'm also having problems with crashing discover.
All I do is I click on the Update icon in system tray and Discover crashes immediately. I did also flatpak update, but no luck. Discover crashes everytime. Although at least manual update using 'pkcon update' command is working. Versions: Flatpak version: 1.4.2 Plasma version: 5.16.5 KDE Framework version: 5.62.0 Qt version: 5.12.3 Kernel version: 4.15.0-64-generic Error:
