When I run:

I see:

Please can you provide help as to how I fix this

Did you run the pkcon refresh command before pkcon update? It is always best to refresh sources before trying to do an update/upgrade.

I did just run

, it seemed to go ok

shows the same error

Do you have WIne/winehq/playonlinux installed, particularly via any third party repos?

What may help is some extra error output from running

Code: Select all

sudo apt full-upgrade

and some info about the libblkid1 package that is causing the conflicts:

apt policy libblkid1

If you are trying to use Wine on Neon, you may have to jump through some hoops in order to get around the packaging conflicts. There are a number of threads on the topic here, but not sure what works myself, as I don't run Wine or similar on my Neon system.

I'm running KDE NEON and last time I did a dist upgrade it broke my install, which is what I usually would do to fix things that break.
In the end I did a

Code: Select all

apt dist-upgrade

and it didn't break my system, and has magically fixed my QT issues.

On a side note claydoh, I also previously had major issues with wine similar to the ones you mentioned.
I believe the issues may be fixed with wine now.
