I could not found the deleted directory and the only way I could did that was through Dolphin. Any help could be usefull, regards |

So the directory /home/<your-username/Downloads has been deleted somehow?
It is highly unlikely that a package update would do that, as these do not touch user files. Do you mean the 'Downloads' entry on the sidebar on the left side of Dolphin? If it is this, then it could have been hidden somehow. It can easily be restored. Try right-clicking on the 'places' entry on the left sidebar, and see if 'show hidden places' can be enabled, then see if the Downloads folder is there. If it is, then right click on it, and un-check the 'hide' option. Worst case, you can add a new entry on the sidebar and point it to your Downloads folder.

I also executed the following command but I did not found the folder
find `ls` /.bash_history -exec /bin/grep "Descargas" {} /dev/null \; Perhaps, I deleted it by accident. Thanks in advance. |

Hi j8a,
right click in your home folder and Create new > Folder. The Downloads folder must be created (named) with an uppercase "D" (Downloads). Not downloads with a lowercase "d"!. ![]()
Running Kubuntu on two computers (one dual boot and one as single OS), were it not for gaming; I would ditch Winblows completely!.
