Hi!
One of the latest updates apparently broke my neon desktop, as after a reboot, sddm came back as a black screen and I wasn't able to use it. From a terminal, I tried to upgrade/reinstall the installed packages but I end up making things worse... As a last resource, I end up uninstalling the neon-desktop package (for reinstalling it later) and now I'm facing this situation:
And this seems to be the root cause of the problem:
Any idea of why is this happening? Is there something missing in the neon repo? Or is something wrong with my system? BTW, I have Ubuntu 18.04 as the base system and installed the neon packages over it more than a year ago. Thanks in advance! |

Did you try to check and install any updates first? You may not have gotten them all, or your package database is not fully up to date.
pkcon refresh pkcon update the neon-desktop is a meta-package that only exists to bring in dependecies, so uninstalling it would not have an effect

Yes, I did try that but it had the same effect. Thanks anyway!
Luckily, this morning, all the required packages were finally available to download. So I'm already enjoying KDE Neon once again! ![]() |

We haven't released Qt 5.13.2 anywhere yet. Are you using the /release/ repo by mistake? This is a staging repo which will contain incomplete package sets.

And that explains it!
If I may ask, which repo should I be using instead? user? |
