Hello. Today I was faced with strange trouble: when I was trying to run some files (.sh, *.AppImage) I had got message "The file blablabla.AppImage is an executable program. For safety it will not be started."

Yes, I know that is executable. I marked them "Is executable" by my own.

So, why I can't launch them? (In the pas that apps works fine)
How to disable that "smart" and "safe" feature?

What I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

Hi there,

to help you out and probably my future me I found the solution here:
viewtopic.php?t=129445#p346099

After removing the executable script option from ~/.config/kiorc I could choose what to do with executable files again and then it worked :D

Best regards
