I am trying to get rid of this "on TTY 1 (Display: 0)", I am finding it a total eye sore as no other DE really does this and serves no purpose for me. I was not able to find any config to remove it.

Seemed to have found the source code though:
https://github.com/KDE/kscreenlocker/bl ... tching.qml
OR https://api.kde.org/4.x-api/kde-workspa ... ource.html

Can anyone help me either configure it or probably direct me to a theme file where I can change it?

Thanks!

So I found a solution to my own problem.

I am using KDE Neon with Plasma 5.17.3

I just went to -> /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/org.kde.breeze.desktop/contents/components/UserList.qml and commented out the following line of code.

Code: Select all
 if (location) {
      return i18ndc("plasma_lookandfeel_org.kde.lookandfeel", "Username (location)", "%1 (%2)", displayName, location)
 }

Make sure to always make a backup of such files before you edit them.
